Girls go Bananas for Autographs at U10 Blitz

The inaugural Dublin Ladies U10 Blitz was today carried out in brilliant sunshine in 4 locations across Dublin - Naomh Mearnog, St Sylvesters, St Anne’s and Naomh Olaf was deemed a great success by everyone concerned. The day would not have been possible without the dedication of all the volunteers, referees, the host clubs who kindly offered their facilities, club mentors, parents, players, Dublin inter-county players and the event sponsors.
After their games the girls were treated to a goodie bag of fruit and bananas kindly sponsored by Fyffes. The girls were also presented with a specially commissioned A2 poster to celebrate Dublin Ladies first All Ireland Win, when the minor panel of 2008 lifted the 2008 championship. Dublin Ladies inter-county stars were on hand to autograph the posters and everything else the girls wanted autographed.
