Dublin Ladies Board meeting takes place Tuesday night at 7.30pm in Parnell Park. A full attendance is requested.

Applications for the Dublin Féile 2009 have now closed. At a time of cutbacks and recession the Dublin Ladies Board are delighted to welcome Everbuild on board again as sponsors of the competition. This is a huge boost to the competition and the competing clubs. Last year Ballyboden St. Enda’s won the Division 1 title defeating St. Brigid’s in the final while Kilmacud Crokes defeated Skerries Harps in the Division 2 final. For further details see the website.

Commiserations to the Dublin senior A team on their defeat by Cork in the Bord Gais Energy National League semi-final. They had a very successful league campaign to date but didn’t do themselves justice against Cork. Thoughts can now turn to preparation for the upcoming Leinster campaign.

Well done to the Dublin u14’s and 16’s on completing the double over Wicklow in the round robin stage of the Leinster championship. The final scores were as follows - u14 Dublin 9-15 Wicklow 5-6 and Dublin 6-10 Wicklow 4-5 in the u16 game.

Lá na gClub takes place on 10th May to celebrate 125 years of the GAA. No Association fixtures will take place on that day. Please ensure that Ladies Football fittingly celebrates the occasion within your club.

Time to start organising those teams for the golf classic fundraiser in St. Margaret’s Golf and Country Club on Friday 22nd May. For further details contact John Sheridan or see the website.
