Well done to the Jackies on their win away to Armagh in a recent challenge game. This will help their preparation for next week’s opening national league fixture away to Monaghan, all support welcome.

The New Dublin Ladies Senior Development Management(Senior B) team have organised trials in an attempt to unearth new players to participate on our Panel for 2009.See Details on www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie


Minor trials were held over the weekend and close on fifty players were in attendance. The management team were very happy with the large turn-out. Many clubs were represented. Further trials will take place next Friday 30th January at 8pm in Naomh Mearnóg.


A First FUNdamentals course will take place in Fingallians on Saturday 7th February with a second in Kilmacud Crokes on Saturday 28th. Level 1 courses will be provided on the 14th March and 25th April. Details on www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie

New player Registration Forms are currently being updated and will be available shortly.Existing members are covered by their 2008 registration until 31st May next. New members registering this year will be covered until 31st May 2010. New players joining since the 1/1/09 are required to register before playing otherwise they are not covered by the Accident Fund.

Reminder -The DEADLINE for affiliation is 9th February next.

The requirement to have a Club Children’s Officer is set out in the Official Guide, Rule 102. When Clubs affiliate to the Ladies Football Association, they accept the conditions set out in the Official Guide. Names and Contacts for the Childrens Officers for each Affiliating Club in 2009 must be with the County Secretary on 9th February next at the latest.

Next County Board meeting takes place in Parnell Park at 7.30pm on Tuesday February 17th
 
Dublin Ladies Executive Committee will host a meeting with the Dublin Camogie Board Executive in St. Brigid’s GAA club, Blanchardstown on Tuesday next 27th February at 7.30pm to discuss the area of girls/ladies participation in both games.
