Dubs on Duty - Ladies Finals Day in Croke Park

No it was not Pilar Caffery in his Garda uniform.
You will no doubt read of the exploits of the Cork team or the dejection of the girls from Monaghan. But during the interval, a juvenile team from Cork Cubs and Schools went up against a Monaghan side in a mini-match. Now Keith Tighe may have had the spotlight at the BIG EVENT but Sarah Egan [Cuala] had the honours with the juveniles.
In fact, there were 6 mini-games in all. Two in each interval and all were refereed by Dublin Girls. Along with Sarah representing us on the day were Louise Mahony [Castleknock], Lizzy Bennett [Craobh Chairain], Cliodhna Gillen [Cuala], Niamh Naughton [St Judes] and Aishling Mahony [Castleknock].
Fetching and getting the ball was undertaken by Emma Lawless, Lauren Buckley, Chloe Farren, Lisa Flood, Maria Yeates, Zoe Johnston, Stacey Berry, Hayley Doyle, Shannon Lowndes, Casey Bruen, Hannah Gallagher and Alison Tuck all from Na Dubh Ghall.
Niamh Barrett [Kilmacud Crokes] was listed as standby linesperson for the Senior Game.
