Féile Laighean Cill Dara is the forerunner of National Féile 2008. Saturday next, 31st May is when all the preparation for this event, which will see 96 teams participating - both girls and boys, comes together in a festival of games for the Under 14s. All the teams will converge on Newbridge at 9am for the opening ceremony and parade.

In the Ladies Football competitions Dublin will be represented by 4 teams, both our Féile winners, Ballyboden St Endas and Kilmacud Crokes will compete in Division 1, guests Foxrock Cabinteely will compete in Division 2 and the Dublin County Board are pleased to nominate St Sylvesters to participate in Division 4.

In the opening rounds, the Boden girls will take on the home side, Sarsfields at 11.00 to be followed by an Eadestown v Kilmacud match. Naas, Arklow, Ballyna and Boardsmill make up the remainder of Division 1. Could we see an All Dublin Final in the County Grounds at 15.30?

Foxrock Cabinteely will pair off with St Laurences in Leixlip and St Sylvesters meet Edenderry at the Kill GAA grounds.

Each participant will receive a special memento of the occasion and a souvenir programme will be produced to mark the event.
