Results from Scor na bPaisti
Well done to all those who competed in the inaugural Scor na bPaisti last night. We had participants from 7 clubs- St Peregrines, Whitehall Colmcilles (who hosted the event), Naomh Barrog, Naomh Olaf, Ballyboden St. Endas, Lucan Sarsfields and Castleknock. Scor na bPaisti is aimed at primary school children who are members of GAA Clubs, so a lot of these children were quite young.
The standard of competition and entertainment value was very high, giving our adjudicator, Niamh O’Donnell, a very difficult task indeed.
Thanks to Niamh Cullen and to Whitehall Colmcilles for hosting the event so ably, to Harry from Naomh Olaf for doing Fear a’ Ti, and to Therese Flynn for looking after the sound. Thanks also to all those who trained the children over the last few weeks. They didn’t get this far without a lot of work and we appreciate that.
Finally, thanks to all the children who took part and to all those who came along to support them on the night.
Medals were awarded for 1st and 2nd places and each club also received a trophy to mark the occasion.
