Under 12 Academy - Brilliant football in glorious sunshine!

The setting could not have been bettem a beautiful sunny afternoon in Dolphins Barn. The Under 12 Academy held a Blitz in Templeogue Synge Street GAA grounds in Dolphins Barn on Sunday 4th May. The girls were split into three teams and we invited three visiting teams to oppose the girls from the Under 12 Academy. Special thanks to these three teams – Ballyboden St Endas under 13s, Kilmacud Crokes under 13s and Na Dubh Gall under 13s it was fantastic to see so many girls out playing football on a bank holiday weekend. Excellent football was evident all over the park with all three matches providing excitement and entertainment throughout. The standard of football was exceptional and the sporting nature of the challenges fantastic. These girls are a great bunch and they really give football everything. It was sheer pleasure to watch such a high standard of football from girls so young.
