Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:
LIDL Ladies NFL:
Congratulations to Dublin on their 2-14 to 1-06 win over Kerry in the opening round of the 2016 NFL. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the girls in Parnell Park despite the inclement weather conditions. This Sunday Feb 7th Dublin will travel west to play Mayo throw in time 2pm venue to be confirmed.
Leinster Minor Championship:
This Saturday the Dublin minor team commence their Leinster championship campaign with a home tie versus Laois at 2pm in St Peregrines.
February County Board meeting:
There will be two County Board meetings held in February the first takes place on Tuesday the 2nd with the second meeting on the 9th both commencing at 7:30pm in Parnell Park. Agenda will be issued to clubs in advance of the meetings. Clubs are entitled to three representatives in attendance one of which must be a registered adult player.
Development Update:
Volunteer recruitment & retention course is taking place in Parnells GAA club on Thursday 4th of February, a Level 1 coaching course will take place in Fingallians GAA club on the 27th of February (Day 1) and on the 9th of April (Day 2).
