Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:

 

Leinster Club Championship:

Congratulations to Foxrock Cabinteely on winning the Senior Leinster title for the first time on Saturday last following their 1-12 to 1-07 victory over Sarsfields of Laois. Congratulations also to Niamh Collins who was awarded the Player of the Match accolade. Foxrock Cabinteely will now play Ulster champions, Donaghmoyne of Monaghan in the All Ireland semi-final on Saturday November 21st, time and venue to be confirmed.

 

TG4 All Stars:

The 2015 TG4 All Stars will be revealed this Saturday at a gala event being held in City West Hotel. Best wishes to our ten nominees Ciara Trant, Olwen Carey, Muireann Ni Scanaill, Sorcha Furlong, Sinead Goldrick, Sinead Finnegan, Noelle Healy, Carla Rowe, Lyndsey Davey and Niamh McEvoy.

 

Annual Convention:

The Annual County Convention of Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football has been set for Saturday December 5th 2015 at 10.00 in Parnell Park. All club Secretaries have by now received the nominations, motions and recommendations papers please note that the deadline for receipt of Nominations, motions and recommendations is Friday the 20th of November 2015 @5pm (close of business).

 

November County Board Meeting:

This month’s County Board meeting will take place on Tuesday November 17th at 7.30pm in Parnell Park all clubs should have a representative in attendance.

 

Dublin U14 Trials 2016:

Dublin LGFA is seeking player nominations from clubs for girls to attend trials for the Dublin U14 panel of 2016. The Dublin Executive Committee has appointed Stephen Davis (Stars of Erin) as Interim Dublin U14 Manager.

 

Nomination forms which have now been circulated to all club Secretaries can be emailed to info@dublinladiesgaelic.ie or posted to Dublin LGFA Office, Le Cheile, Donnycarney, Dublin 5. Nominations will only be accepted from club secretaries or nominated point of contact, deadline for submissions is Monday November 16th by 5pm (close of business).
