Leinster Junior Club Championship Final

This Sunday November 1st, Dublin Junior champions Skerries Harps will travel to Clane to take on Meath champions Dunboyne in the 2015 junior club championship provincial decider.

Skerries overcame a strong Moorefield side in their provincial semi-final with just five points separating the sides at the end while Sunday’s opponents Dunboyne had a nineteen point comprehensive victory over Bennykerry/Tinryland of Carlow.

Up front Skerries Harps will no doubt look to Dublin captain Lyndsey Davey for inspiration while Eve Keogh, Sinead O’Mahony, Sinead Cullen and team captain Rebecca Davey have all been in excellent form for the Harps this season.

Thomas Davis were the last Dublin club to lift the Leinster Junior cup their success came back in 2012 previous to that win Foxrock Cabinteely in 2007 were the first Dublin club to take home the Junior provincial title to the capital.

Sunday’s final is expected to be a typical Dublin versus Meath encounter with most pundits believing that there will be very little between the two sides when the final whistle goes.

Action gets underway in Clane on Sunday at 13.30
