Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football Association

Leinster Club Championship:

Congratulations to Skerries Harps who booked their place in the provincial decider last Saturday with a 1-09 to 1-04 victory over Moorefield of Kildare. Skerries Harps will now play Dunboyne of Meath in the Leinster Junior club final on November 1st, venue and time to be confirmed.

 

Foxrock Cabinteely get their Leinster senior club championship campaign underway this Saturday with a tough away ties versus Shelmaliers of Wexford. Proceedings get underway at 2pm in Hollymount GAA club all in Dublin LGFA would like to offer our best wishes to team Captain Fiona the entire Foxrock Cabinteely panel and their management team.

 

October County Board Meeting:

A meeting of the Dublin LGFA will take place on Tuesday October 20th commencing at 7.30pm sharp in Parnell Park. All clubs are required to have a representative in attendance, agenda and minutes of previous meeting will be circulated to all clubs in advance of the meeting.

 

U16 player nominations for Dublin 2016 panel:

Nominations forms have been issued to all clubs for forthcoming U16 Dublin trails for the 2016 County panel. The deadline for U16 submissions is this Friday the 23rd of October.

 

Gaelic4Mothers & Others:

Well done and congratulations to the 1500 women who took part in the National G4M&O blitz last Saturday which was hosted by Naomh Mearnog and St Sylvester’s GAA clubs. Dublin were represented at the event by Ballymun Kickhams, Erin go Bragh, Erin’s Isle, Fingallians, Foxrock Cabinteely, Kilmacud Crokes, Man O War, Naomh Mearnog, Round Towers, St Brigid’s, St Finian's, St Maur's, St Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh, Thomas Davis and Whitehall Colmcille.

 

Dublin Ladies Annual Awards Night:

Our annual awards night will take place on November 28th in Croke Park tickets (€50 pp) for the event can be ordered from Kathleen Colreavy.
