Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:

Leinster Club Championship:

Congratulations to Dublin Junior club county champions Skerries Harps on their 5-13 to 2-13 victory over Geraldines of Louth on Saturday last in the Leinster club championship quarter final.

 

This Saturday October 17th Skerries travel to Kildare for a semi -final meeting with the Kildare champions Moorefield, throw in time is 2pm. All in Dublin LGFA would like to wish the Captain Rebecca and all the Skerries girls along with their management team all the very best of luck.

 

TG4 All Star Nominations:

Congratulations to Ciara Trant, Olwen Carey, Muireann Ni Scanaill, Sinead Finnegan, Sorcha Furlong, Sinead Goldrick, Noelle Healy, Carla Rowe, Lyndsey Davey and Niamh McEvoy on their 2015 All Star Nominations.

 

Minor and U16 player nominations for Dublin 2016 panels:

Nominations forms have been issued to all clubs for forthcoming U16 Dublin trails for the 2016 County panel. The deadline for U16 submissions is Friday the 23rd of October.

 

October Meeting:

The October Dublin LGFA meeting will take place on Tuesday the 20th of October in Parnell Park commencing at 7.30pm sharp

 

Civic Reception:

It was an honour and a privilege for the Dublin Senior and U21 players to meet with the Lord Mayor Críona Ní Dhálaigh at a reception held in the mansion house last Friday night. The Lord Mayor’s support of both teams and indeed of Dublin Ladies football was greatly appreciated by all concerned.
