Championship Draws - Junior C to G

Dublin LGFA Junior club championship draws –

 

The championship draw for the Junior C to Junior G club championships took place last night at the June County Board meeting.

 

Junior C –

Seven teams will compete in the Junior C championship Crumlin, Fingallians B, Na Fianna B, O’Dwyers, St Anne’s, Templeogue Synge Street and Ranelagh Gaels. The championship format is based on a round robin league all teams play each other once with the semi-finals determined by top four placings 1 v 4 and 2 v 3.

 

First round fixtures which take place on July 8th are as follows:

Fingallians B v O’Dwyers

Na Fianna B v Ranelagh Gaels

Templeogue Synge Street v Crumlin

St Anne’s bye

 

Junior D –

Eight teams will compete in the Junior D championship, Craobh Chiarain, Fingal Ravens, Naomh Olaf, Parnells B, Ballyboden St Endas C, Erin’s Isle, Whitehall Colmcille and Thomas Davis B. As this championship is an 8 team competition the draw was divided into 2 groups of four. The semi-final placings will be winner of Group A versus runner up in Group B and vice versa.

 

First round fixtures which again will take place on July 8th:

Group A:

Parnells B v Fingal Ravens

Naomh Olaf v Erin’s Isle

 

Group B:

Whitehall Colmcille v Craobh Chiarain

Thomas Davis B v Ballyboden St Endas C

 

Junior E –

Six teams will compete in the Junior E championship, Castleknock B, Lucan Sarsfield’s B, Na Gaeil Oga, St Patricks Donabate, Stars of Erin and St James Gaels. The championship format is based on a round robin league all teams play each other once with the semi-finals determined by top four placings 1 v 4 and 2 v 3.

 

First round fixtures which take place on July 8th are as follows:

Castleknock B v Stars of Erin

St James Gaels v Na Gaeil Oga

St Patrick’s v Lucan Sarsfield’s B

 

Junior F –

Seven teams will compete in the Junior F championship Clanna Gael Fontenoy B, Clontarf B, St Finians Newcastle, St Jude’s B, Wild Geese, St Sylvester’s B, and Wanderers. The championship format is based on a round robin league all teams play each other once with the semi-finals determined by top four placings 1 v 4 and 2 v 3.

 

First round fixtures which take place on July 8th are as follows:

St Sylvester’s B v Clanna Gael Fontenoy B

St Finians Newcastle v Clontarf B

Wanderer’s v St Jude’s B

Wild Geese bye

 

Junior G –

Seven teams will compete in the Junior G championship Garristown, Man O War B, Round Towers Lusk, St Brendan’s, St Monica’s, Trinity Gaels, Erin Go Bragh . The championship format is based on a round robin league all teams play each other once with the semi-finals determined by top four placings 1 v 4 and 2 v 3.

 

First round fixtures which take place on July 8th are as follows:

St Monica’s v Erin Go Bragh

Garristown v Trinity Gaels

Round Towers Lusk v St Brendan’s

Man O War B bye

Round 3 – Jul 22nd

Round 4 – Jul 27th (Monday)

Round 4/5 – July 29th

Round 5/6 – August 5th

Round 6/7 – August 12th or 10th (Leaving Cert results August 12th)

Semi Final – August 19th

Final – August 26th (TBC)
