One change for Dubs ahead of Rebel Clash –

Dublin have announced their line up for Sunday’s all important clash with Cork there is just the one change from the starting 15 that line out versus Tyrone two weeks ago. Kim Flood of Clanna Gael Fontenoy comes into the side at centre forward ahead of Nicole Owens.

Sunday’s game in Cork will be a major test for Gregory McGonigles chargers as the Dubs need to record a win if they have any prospect of reaching the knock out stages.

Reigning champions, Cork have already qualified for the semi-finals but as to be expected Eamon Ryan has named an extremely strong starting 15 for Sunday’s visit of the Dub’s.

Eleven of Cork’s starting 15 for Sundays clash in CIT lined out for the Rebels in last Septembers epic All Ireland final win over Dublin. In stark contrast only 6 of Dublin’s All Ireland Final starting 15 will begin Sunday’s vital league clash with the rebels.

With a high number of the 2014 championship squad unavailable for the NFL Dublin management have used the league to blood a number of last year’s winning All Ireland U21 players as well welcoming back into the fold experienced footballers Fiona Hudson, Amy Connolly, Sinead O’Mahony and Kim Flood.

Competition for places is high amongst the Dublin panel with a number of players pushing hard for a starting 15 jersey knowing that championship football is literally just around the corner.

Elsewhere on Sunday Mayo welcome second place Galway to Elverys McHale Park, Monaghan travel to Castleisland for a crunch tie with Kerry while in Clonabogan Tyrone and Laois will battle it out to determine who avoids relegation to division 2 next season.
