Dublin LGFA weekly Notes:
January County Board Meeting:
The January County Board meeting of the Dublin LGFA will take place on Tuesday the 13th of January at 7.30pm in Parnell Park. All clubs are requested to have at least one delegate in attendance. Agenda and minutes of previous meeting will be issued in advance to all club Secretaries and delegates.
Vote for Lyndsey:
Dublin Senior player and current TG4 All-Star Lyndsey Davey has been nominated for the Fingal Independent Sports Star of the Year Award 2014.
You can vote for Lyndsey simply by filling out the form inside any current edition of the Fingal Independent before the Awards night which takes place on Saturday January 24th.
All Support for Lyndsey will be very much appreciated.
GAELIC4GIRLS Programme 2015:
G4G is basically a tool to attract new players into a new or existing club. It is a 12 week programme incorporating coaching sessions and fun non-competitive blitzes aimed at increasing participation in our game. The programme targets girls aged between 8-12 years who are NOT currently registered with a ladies Gaelic football club.

Closing date for receipt of applications is 30th January 2015.
TESCO Homegrown Club Person of the Year Awards return in 2015:
Volunteers are amongst the most important people involved in the sport, their role is central to the success of Ladies Gaelic Football and it is fair to say that there simply would not be any game without them.
A winner of the TESCO Homegrown Club Person of the Year is selected from each of the four provinces with an overall winner selected and announced at a presentation in Croke Park. It truly is a great honour for the winners but it is even more of a boost for the club that they are part of.
