Dublin Club Championship Finals 2014

Senior Championship Final
Foxrock Cabinteely v Na Fianna
July 25th, 8.30pm
Venue: Parnell Park

Foxrock Cabinteely and Na Fianna will renew rivalries on July 25th as the two powerhouses of Dublin LGFA will contest the 2014 senior championship final.

Na Fianna have been a dominate force in ladies football in recent times reaching no less than six finals in last fourteen years and have two County titles to their name.

In 2009 the girls from Glasnevin saw off the challenge from Naomh Mearnóg to win their first senior county championship crown. In 2011 having defeated Ballyboden St Enads in the Dublin final Na Fianna went all the way to the All-Ireland club final only to lose out to Carnacon of Mayo.

Na Fianna bounced back from that All-Ireland final defeat to contest the last two County finals only to lose to Foxrock Cabinteely in 2012 and to Fingallians last year following a replayed final.

Foxrock Cabinteely is managed by Peter Clarke and Pat Ring both of whom are also involved with the Mayo ladies Senior County team. Both men will be hoping that Dublin Captain Sinead Goldrick will recover in time from her recent knee injury in order to be available for selection on July 25th.
