Dublin Club Championship Wednesday 28th of May

Senior Championship

Group A:

St Sylvester’s v Na Fianna

Venue: Broomfield

Na Fianna and St Sylvester’s each with two wins from two games are now both assured of qualifying for the semi-final. The pair will converge tomorrow evening to play their final group game the result of their encounter will determine who tops Group A.

Verdict: Na Fianna

Clanna Gael Fontenoy v Thomas Davis

Venue: Sean Moore Park

Clanna Gael Fontenoy and Thomas Davis will be playing for pride when the two sides meet in their final group game of the 2014 championship. Home advantage should tip the scales in favour of the Ringsend club.

Verdict: Clanna Gael Fontenoy

Group B:

Foxrock Cabinteely v Ballyboden St Endas

Venue: Kilboggett Road

Foxrock Cabinteely has secured their place in the semi-final who joins them from Group B is still very much up for grabs. Ballyboden St Endas drew their opening game with St Brigids but came undone last week versus Fingallians tomorrows nights clash with the 2012 championship winners might be just a step too far for the Firhouse girls.

Verdict: Foxrock Cabinteely

Fingallians v St Brigids

Venue: Lawless Park

Home advantage could play a vital part in the clash of Fingallians and St Brigids. Fingallians got their championship campaign back on track last week with an away win over Ballyboden St Endas having previously lost to Foxrock Cabinteely. St Brigids who were defeated in extra time in the 2013 semi-final against Na Fianna can still potentially qualify for the knock out stages but they urgently need to find their championship form.

Verdict: Fingallians
