Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:

 

Inter County:

Dublin U14’s play Meath this Saturday in the Leinster Final the venue for the final is Clane GAA club in Co Kildare with the throw in time down for 3.15pm. Best wishes to team Captain Sarah, all the girls and to their management team of Fearghall, Pat, Damien, Lee, Sinead and Theresa, COYGIB.

 

Congratulations to the Dublin U21’s for qualifying for the knock out stages of the championship following their 7-20 to 0-05 win over Tyrone. Dublin will now have to wait the outcome of the draw whereby they can either receive a pass straight through to the final (June 15th) or play a semi-final (June 8th) versus one of the other group winners.

 

Registrations:

A reminder registration for existing players (ie: players not registered in 2014) expires on the 31st of May (this SATURDAY) clubs should be starting to prepare their bulk registration for the new registration period. Any player not registered after the 31st of May is not entitled to play and is NOT covered under the injury fund. Mouth Guards:

A reminder regarding the new rule - it is mandatory for all ladies gaelic football players in age grades up to and including minor to wear a mouth guard in all practice sessions and games. It is the responsibility of each individual player to use a mouth guard, players will be ordered off in a game for not wearing a mouth guard and will remain off the pitch until the situation is ratified, players will not be covered under the Injury Fund if they don’t comply with the mouth guard rule.
