Dubs remain unbeaten in U21 Championship:

Dublin U21’s remain on track to qualify for the knock out stages of the Aisling McGing U21 Championship following their empathic 7-20 to 0-05 win over Tyrone today.

Dublin Manger Gregory McGonigle had to deal with the late withdrawal of full back Lucy Collins who could not line out today due to a stomach bug she was replaced by Aoife O’Brien from Ballyboden St Endas.

Nicole Owens who was impressive for Dublin last weekend against Louth hit top form again today with the Malahide ace bagging 3-06 of her side’s final tally of 7-20.

Dublin had ten different names on their score sheet with substitutes Maria Kenny, Ciara McGuigan and Aife Kavanagh all adding to Dublin’s account when introduced.  Another plus for Dublin was the introduction into the game of Martha Byrne; the Cuala star and senior team panellist had been out of County football action since picking up a leg injury in the NFL game versus Donegal back in early March.

Dublin management and players would like to acknowledge the Dublin patrons, family and friends who made the journey to the impressive Garvaghey venue today to cheers the girls on.
