Nine Dubs on Leinster Panel for 2014 Inter Pro’s …

The MMI Group Interprovincial Championships take place this weekend in Kinnegad on Saturday in what will be an exciting competition featuring the very best players from around the country.

Connacht, Munster and Leinster will all hope to capture the title from Ulster who defeated the Westerners in last year’s final.

The provinces will participate in a round robin competition commencing at 11 am with the top 2 finishers going on to contest the Cup Final and the other provinces meeting in the Shield Final.

Reigning Leinster Champions Dublin has nine representatives on the Leinster squad.

Dublin’s 2014 Leinster Inter provincial representatives will be Siobhan McGrath, Sinead Goldrick, Sinead Aherne, Sinead Finnegan, Lyndsay Davey, Noelle Healy, Lindsay Peat, Niamh McEvoy and Sorcha Furlong.

Leinster is managed again this year by former Wicklow manager and current Thomas Davis senior Ladies team manager, Dominic Leech.

Leinster has not won the Interprovincial tournament since 2006 although they did defeat Munster last season to claim the Shield competition.
