Dublin Club Championships 2014:
Intermediate Championship:
In Group A St Margarets and Parnells are setting the pace with both clubs on maximum points from their two championship outings. The two North Side clubs meet this Monday in round 3 the outcome of their top of the table clash will have a huge influence as to who tops Group A heading into the final round of fixtures on Wednesday night next.
Also on Monday night Ballinteer St Johns will host pointless Naomh Mearnog another win for the Marley Park side could keep them in contention ahead of the final group games on Wednesday.
Meanwhile in Group B, 2013 beaten Intermediate finalists Kilmacud Crokes have sent out a clear message of intent following a second impressive win with a 6-18 to 1-06 victory over Clontarf.
The Stillorgan club who have amassed numerous underage championship titles in recent years yearn to play in top flight competition but the holy grail of senior football has eluded them so far.
Kilmacud Crokes top Group B and look certain to qualify for the semi-final with one game remaining against a Garda / Westmanstown Gaels side who have yet to register a win.
Who joins Kilmacud Crokes in the semi-final most likely will be determined by the winner of the third round game of Clontarf and Round Towers Clondalkin.
