Senior Championship:

St Sylvester’s v Thomas Davis

Venue: Broomfield

St Sylvester’s had eight points to spare over Clanna Gael Fontenoy in their opening game of the championship whereas Thomas Davis first game at senior level resulted in a 4-11 to 0-05 defeat at the hands of former Dublin champions, Na Fianna. Tonight’s game has the makings of a tight contest but St Sylvester’s experienced along with home advantage should tip the scales in their favour.

Na Fianna v Clanna Gael Fontenoy

Venue: Mobhi Road

Na Fianna has been impressive this season with the Glasnevin club emerging as one of the contenders for the Dublin crown. The former champions have a good combination of youth plus experience throughout their line out. Despite battling well for long periods of their game versus St Sylvester’s tonight’s clash with Na Fianna could prove to be just a step too far for the Ladies from Ringsend.

Foxrock Cabinteely v St Brigids

Venue: Kilboggett Park

St Brigids had to dig deep into their reserves last week to earn a draw with Ballyboden St Endas while Foxrock Cabinteely had ten points to spare over 2013 Champions, Fingallians. St Brigids will be hoping that their experienced stars Noelle Healy, Elaine Kelly and Sorcha Furlong hit top form tonight otherwise the Blanchardstown club could be in for a troublesome evening.

Ballyboden St Endas v Fingallians

Venue: Pairc Ui Murchu

Ballyboden St Endas were unlucky not to take three points from last week’s clash with St Brigids the Firhouse crew despite leading for the majority of the game had to settle for a share of the points. Ballyboden’s opponents tonight Fingallians know they require a win in order to get their championship campaign back on track if they have any prospect of holding onto their championship crown.  Home advantage just might tip the result in favour of Ballyboden St Endas.
