Dublin U21 Panel is announced:

This Saturday as Dublin prepare to take on Cork in the final of the Tesco Homegrown NFL behind the scenes of the senior set up the Dublin U21’s have been diligently training  away in preparation for their opening game in the 2014 Aisling McGing championship.

Eleven Counties have entered the U21 championship this season with Dublin pooled in Group B with Louth, Tyrone and Kildare. Group A comprises of Galway, Roscommon, Meath and Cavan while reigning champions Cork are named in Group C along with Kerry and Clare.

Dublin will play the Wee County on Sunday week May 18th at 4.30pm in Ballyboden St Endas pitch in Sancta Maria. The U21 championship game will be part of a series events being organised by the Firhouse club to mark the official opening of their wall ball facility.

Dublin U21 manager, Gregory McGonigle has named a strong 27 player panel with includes a number of the current senior panellists, Raheny’s Siobhan Woods will captain the side.

Dublin will travel to Tyrone on May 25th and are also away to Kildare on June 1st for their second and third group fixtures. The semi-final of the U21 competition is pencilled in for June 8th with the final being contested the following week on June 15th.
