Inter County Fixtures Update

Inter County Update: 

May 2014 has the potential to be one of the most successful Months for Dublin LGFA as four Dublin Inter County teams look forward to appearing in three provincial and one national Final, with the aim and aspirations of bringing silverware home to the Capital.

Dublin LGFA are appealing to all Dublin clubs to support our players and their respective management teams by playing your part in the promotion of these finals via your club website and social media accounts.

We would especially welcome the promotional support from clubs who have representatives on our respective Inter County panels. Dublin LGFA is fully aware that without the tremendous work being carried out by our club coaches and mentors at grass root level, Dublin would not be such a potent force at Inter County level and a strong challenger for these titles.

 

First up on Monday May 5th Dublin Minors take on Westmeath in the Leinster Minor Final at 3.15pm in Clane GAA Club, Co Kildare.

The following weekend on Saturday May 10th, Dublin will appear in the Division 1 NFL final for a historic first time their opponents will be reigning league and All Ireland Championship, Cork.

The final will take place in Parnell Park OUR COUNTY GROUND and we are appealing to clubs, mentors, players and supporters to make the trip to Donnycarney to cheer on our girls in blue!

Admission rates for Parnell Park, Adult; €15, Student & Senior Citizen €5, UNDER 16’s FREE

On May 31st Dublin and Meath will also contest the Under 14 Leinster Final, details on the venues and time for the U14 final are still to be confirmed by Leinster Council and will be circulated to all clubs once confirmed.
