Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:
May County Board Meeting:
The May meeting of the Dublin LGFA County Board will take place on Tuesday 20th of May at 7:30pm in Parnell Park, items for inclusion on the agenda, correspondence, transfer requests etc. ., should be with the County Secretary, Mary O’Connor by close of business on Tuesday May 13th.
Club Championship fixtures:
Championship games (Senior to Junior B) originally scheduled to take place next Wednesday (April 30th) will now be -played on the 14thof May. A round of cup fixtures has been inserted for Wednesday. Mentors are requested to check the website www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie for your new fixture and referee. Please be extra sure to contact the referee to check his/her availability owing to the change of fixtures due to Dublin’s qualification for the NFL final.
Inter County Update:
Congratulations to the Dublin senior squad along with their management team for qualifying for the TESCO Homegrown NFL Div 1 final following their 4-15 to 1-20 semi-final win over Monaghan.
Dublin will play reigning league and All Ireland Championship Cork in the final on Saturday the 10th of May in Parnell Park, time to be confirmed.
Dublin U14’s play Laois this Saturday May 3rd at 2pm in Chanel College home of Parnells GAA Club, in their refixed Leinster Championship fixture. Best wishes to all the players and their management team.
Dublin Minors will play Westmeath in the Leinster final on May 5th at 3:30pm in Clane GAA club, Co. Kildare. Best wishes to Dublin Captain, Aoife Curran and her fellow colleagues and everyone involved with the Dublin Minor management team.
Dublin U16’s will play Meath in this year’s Leinster final on the 11th of May with the venue and time yet to be confirmed by Leinster Council.
