All Ireland Ticket Levy & New On Line Registration System

Ref: Payment of 2014 All-Ireland Tickets and On Line Registration System.

Payment of 2014 All-Ireland Tickets.

As you know over the last 3 years the payment of All-Ireland Tickets was very poor. At one stage last year the Dublin Ladies Executive were owed € 18,500.00 for All-Ireland Tickets over a 3 year period. Even though Central Council were paid in fully each year. It took Siobhan and I almost 9 months last year to collect this money. To this end the Dublin Ladies Executive decided that the payment of All-Ireland Tickets would have to be paid with the 2014 Club Teams Affiliation Fee. This was very successful as all the All-Ireland Ticket money has been paid. Plus it will give Siobhan and I time to spend on more important issues of our Association. To the Clubs we say thank you very much for your co-operation on this. However we have a problem.

The Dublin Ladies Executive attended a training day in Croke Park on the 1st March 2014. During the talk on the On Line Registration System the Counties that attended were informed that when Clubs go On Line to Register Players etc. they will be asked to pay ‘’ FIRST ‘’ € 30.00 Club fee for the system and € 150.00 for the 2014 All-Ireland Tickets. This was a complete shock to many Counties as the payment of All-Ireland Tickets through PayPal was never mentioned. Out of the Counties that attended the training day only 3 Counties had their All-Ireland Tickets paid for in full by their Clubs.

Our Chairperson Joe Keane has written to the CEO of Central Council Helen O’Rourke requesting that the payment of the All-Ireland Ticket monies be disabled from our On Line Registration system for this year. This is something that could have being done very easy, as each County has its own On Line System. Central Council have refused to do this. Clubs are struggling with money at the moment, so as not to prolong this any further the Dublin Ladies Executive has decided to refund the € 150.00 All-Ireland Ticket payment for 2014 to all the Clubs at tomorrow night’s County Board Meeting Tuesday 18th March 2014. For  Clubs who do not attend the County Board meetings the payment can be collected from the Office during normal working hours or  it will be posted out to Clubs. The Dublin Ladies Executive would like to apology for any inconvenience caused to our 69 Ladies Football Clubs.

On Line Registration System.

The On Line System is up and running as far as we know. However the On Line Training has broken down a couple of times. So we need to be patient and work with the new On Line Registration System. The Dublin Ladies Executive always felt that the New System should have being launched ‘’ Live ‘’ after May ( when the bulk of the registrations are complete ) and not at the start of the new football season were Clubs are having difficulties in setting up PayPal accounts and using the On Line Registration System.

Last week we issued the Usernames and Password for each Club. However we were missing this information for the following Clubs. Robert Emmets, Round Towers Clondalkin and Round Towers Lusk. Hopefully we will have this information for tomorrow night’s County Board Meeting.

We have also requested Usernames and Password for our 3 New Clubs Ballymun Kickhams, Samildanach CLG and St. Mary’s Saggart. Hopefully this information will follow this week.

The First thing that you have to do is set up your PayPal Account.

Starting to use the On Line Registration System.

Typical Question: What is the address that Clubs go to in order to log into their On Line Registration Account.

Answer: Clubs have to search in the web bar people.ladiesgaelic.ie this will bring you into the Username and Password and with your first login the Clubs will be asked to change their password.

If you are having problems with the On Line Registration System you need to address them to the following.

And ‘’ Not to the Dublin Ladies County Registrar ‘’.

Central Council – maire@ladiesgaelic.ie

Servasport – ivor.watt@servasport.com

                     michael.barr@servasport.com

                     support@servasport.com

Please note the following.

Central Council will accept Registrations for 2014 Season either on the new On Line Registration System or on the Old System for the next few weeks. The Dublin Ladies Executive encourages all Clubs to start using the New On Line Registration System as soon as possible.

As the New Season has started for the Juveniles and the Adult Season is just about to start it is important that all Clubs register their ‘’ New Players ‘’ or ‘’ Returned Players ‘’ straight away. Over the next few weeks all Referees’ match reports with Team Sheets will be checked to confirm that all players playing our Games are ‘’ Fully Registered ‘’. The Dublin Ladies Executive will not accept excuses such as Clubs could not set up PayPal account or use the On Line Registration System. It is the Clubs responsibility to ensure that all Ladies Football Players that play for their Club are fully registered for the 2014 Season.

The Dublin Ladies Executive wish all the Clubs the very best for the 2014 Season, especially the New Clubs Ballymun Kickhams, Samildanach CLG and St. Mary’s Saggart. But at the same time it is important that we support the Clubs that we have lost this year Ballyfermot De La Salle, Liffey Gaels and Na Dubhghall and hopefully they will return for the 2015 Season.

Regards,

Camillus Kilpatrick,

Dublin Ladies County Registrar.

Dublin Ladies County Assistant Treasurer.
