Dublin has named their starting 15 for Sundays much anticipated clash with reigning league and All Ireland champions, Cork.
The St Sylvesterâs twosome of Niamh McEvoy and Sinead Aherne return to the Dublin attack with Olivia Leonard and Lucy Collins making way for the Malahide duo , the inform Aherne was unavailable for selection last Sunday verses Donegal due to family commitments.
Rachel Ruddy is named at full back the former All Star who was a late replacement for Sinead Finnegan versus Donegal last Sunday replaces the injured Martha Byrne in the Dublin defence.
Sinead Finnegan did not start last weekend versus Donegal due to illness but is named as usual in midfield for Sundayâs contest with Cork.
Confidence in the Dublin camp is high at the moment with the Dubs experiencing league victories over Kerry, Mayo and Donegal while also sharing the spoils with Monaghan having drawn with the Ulster champions in their deferred round one tie.
Eamon Ryanâs, Cork side come into Sundayâs clash having won two but also having lost two games in this yearâs league with the rebels experiencing defeats at the hands of Monaghan and Kerry respectively having overcome Mayo and Donegal in earlier rounds.
