Dubs on the double over Kildare

Dublin Under 14 and Under 16 panels got their respective Leinster campaigns off to a winning start today in the opening round of the provincial championship.
Fearghal Brennan's Under 14 side enjoyed a great championship tussle with their Lilywhite counterparts with the two sides equally matched in most sectors of the park.
This was a typical tough competitive championship encounter in the end the Dubs held on to claim a five point win, final score - Dublin 7-09 Kildare 7-04.
Dublin Under 16's manager Ken Nyhan will be happy with his chargers victory today following a shaky opening 30 minutes which saw Dublin squander numerous scoring opportunities in front of the posts.
However following the interval Dublin settled into their game plan finishing the game in style, final score Dublin 8-19 Kildare 1-06
Both squads will be in championship action on Saturday 15th of March, Dublin U14's will welcome Wexford to the Capital while Wicklow will provide the opposition for the Dublin U16 Squad.
