Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football Weekly Notes:

 

TESCO Home Grown Club Championship:

Commiserations to Thomas Davis who gave a brave and courageous performance against Claregalway in the TESCO Home Grown All Ireland Club Championship last Saturday only to be denied a successive All Ireland crown, final score Thomas Davis 0-09 Claregalway 1-09.

 

LEVEL One Coaching Course:

This course is aimed at club coaches who have already completed a Fundamentals course and who wish to take the next step on their coaching careers. The course is ran over two dates  Day 1 – 11th January, Day 2  – 8th March, venue for both dates is Le Cheile – Donnycarney 10am – 4pm

Le Cheile - is located in Donnycarney opposite Parnell Park & is easily accessible by car, bus and dart.

Gaelic4Girls :

Leinster Council is inviting clubs to apply to run a G4G programme, G4G is a 12 week programme incorporating coaching sessions with fun non-competitive blitzes aimed at increasing participation in Ladies Gaelic Football. The programme targets girls aged between 8-12 years who are not currently registered with a Ladies Gaelic Football club. In essence, this is a tool to attract new players. The application form is available to download from www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie

 

December County Board Meeting:

A meeting of the Dublin LGFA will take place on Tuesday December 10th at 7.30pm in Parnell Park this meeting will conclude the unfinished business of the AGM as well as dealing with monthly County Board business. Clubs are requested to have a least one delegate in attendance at the meeting.
