GAA Games Development Conference

  • Nov 28,2013

Liberty Insurance GAA Games Development Conference below:

The Conference will take place in Croke Park, on Friday and Saturday, January 10th and 11th.

This year’s Conference theme will focus on providing delegates with an in-depth perspective on ‘Inspiring Children: Fostering a Love of Gaelic Games’. Speakers of national and international renown will provide detailed expertise across sessions all of which are designed to facilitate GAA Coaches of Children (up to age 12/end of Primary School).

Conference Structure

This year’s Conference involves some new innovations, arising from delegate feedback.

Friday, January 10th will feature the first GAA Researcher’s Forum. Information from delegates indicated that presentations from researchers in the general coaching or development area would be very valuable. Therefore the researcher’s forum will be an opportunity for researchers from Ireland and overseas can present their work to our delegates, outlining what they did and why it is important for coaches to take heed of their work.

On Saturday, January 11th, there will be a combination of Key Note and Parallel Break Out sessions involving noted speakers from Ireland and overseas.

The cost of attending this year’s Liberty Insurance Games Development Conference is €50, which includes entry on both days, all meals and refreshments, as well as the Conference Delegate Pack featuring the Coaching Bag, Folder and Pen and access to all speaker presentations (online post event).

For more information on the Liberty Insurance Games Development Conference visit http://learning.gaa.ie/coach from where you can also reserve your place.

We would urge you to register early, as places are allocated on a first come first served basis, and places are limited (800 delegates). Over the last three years the numbers of delegates attending the Conference has increased, and demand is expected to be very high this year.

We would appreciate if you can forward this to any interested parties in your county and to all your clubs for distribution.
