Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:

 

October County Board Meeting:

County Committee meeting will take place on Tuesday the 15th of October at 7:30pm in Parnell Park.

It is essential that all clubs have at least one representative in attendance at this meeting.

Clubs will be issued with the report / findings from the sub- committee chaired by Camillus Kilpatrick on the feasibility of playing Ladies football and Camogie on alternative weekends.  

 

TG4 All Stars nominees:

Congratulations to Noelle Healy (St Brigids), Sinead Aherne (St Sylvester's) and Sinead Goldrick (Foxrock Cabinteely) who have all been nominated for a TG4 All Stars Award.

The winners will be announced at the All Star banquet on Nov 9th in Citywest Hotel, Saggart.

Dublin Awards Night:

The Dublin LGFA Annual Awards night in association with O'Neill's Sportswear will take place on Saturday the 26th of October. The event this year will be held in the Castleknock and Country Club Hotel with throw in at 7:30pm.

Tickets cost €40 and are available to purchase from Kathleen Colreavy or from the Dublin LGFA Office.

 

TESCO Leinster Club Championship:

Best wishes to Dublin champions, Thomas Davis who face St Rynaghs of Offaly next Saturday (Oct 19th) in the Leinster Intermediate club championship semi-final, throw in time in Banagher is 2pm

 

TESCO Home Grown Dublin CLUB OF THE MONTH Award - October

Each month the winning Dublin Ladies Football club will be featured in the Evening Herald.

This section will give details of the club, its activities, number of teams etc. PLUS each featured club will receive a set of Tesco Homegrown sponsored jerseys.
