Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:

 

Leinster Club Championship:

Congratulations to Thomas Davis who have advanced to the semi-final of the TESCO Home Grown Leinster Intermediate Club Championship following their 2-18 to 2-15 (aet) win over Wicklow Champions Tinahey. Thomas Davis will now play St Rynaghs of Offaly on October 19th at 2pm in Banagher.

 

Meanwhile heartfelt commiserations to Fingallians who bowed out of the club championship following their 6-11 to 1-14 defeat to Sarsfields of Laois.

 

October County Board Meeting:

The October meeting of the Dublin LGFA will take place on Tuesday 15th of October at 7:30pm in Parnell Park. All clubs are requested to have a representative in attendance.

 

Cups & Trophies:

Our Juvenile championship season is well under way therefore can clubs who won trophies / Cups last year please return them to Susan Naughton, to the  Dublin LGFA office or to any member of the executive committee. Silverware can also be returned at the October County Board meeting.

 

Annual Awards Night:

The Dublin LGFA Annual Awards night in association with O'Neill's Sportswear will take place on Saturday the 26th of October. The event this year will be held in the Castleknock and Country Club Hotel with throw in at 7:30pm. Dublin LGFA will be honouring and recognising the achievements of our Senior, Minor and U21 Inter County Teams. Our MC for the evening will be Joanne Cantwell of RTÉ Sport. Tickets cost €40 and are available to purchase from Kathleen Colreavy or from the Dublin LGFA Office.
