Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes
TESCO Home Grown Sevens:
Congratulations to Na Fianna on winning the senior Cup in the All-Ireland Sevens a fantastic achievement by the Glasnevin crew meanwhile our commiserations to Castleknock and O'Tooles who both lost their respective Junior finals by the narrowest of margins. All in all it was a fantastic tournament for Dublin clubs with 18 teams from the Capital participating, well done to all involved. Images from the Sevens can be viewed on GAApics.com
October County Board Meeting:
The October meeting of the Dublin LGFA will take place on Tuesday 15th of October at 7:30pm in Parnell Park. All clubs are requested to have a representative in attendance.
TESCO Home Grown Leinster Club Championship:
Best wishes to Fingallians and Thomas Davis who are playing this weekend in the quarter final of the Leinster Club Championship. Fingallians travel to Laois to play Sarsfields on Saturday 5th October throw in time in Mountmellick is 2pm, Thomas Davis take on Wicklow champions Tinahely on Sunday October 6th also at 2pm.
Cups & Trophies:
Our Juvenile championship season is now under way therefore can clubs who won trophies / Cups last year please return them to Susan Naughton, to the Dublin LGFA office or to any member of the executive committee. Silverware can also be returned at the October County Board meeting.
