Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes

 

County Board meeting:

The September meeting of the Dublin LGFA County Board will take place this Tuesday September 17th at 7.30pm in Parnell Park.

 

Ladies All Ireland Ticket Voucher:

All Dublin clubs have received their ticket voucher from County Secretary Mary O'Connor. Clubs can redeem their €150 worth of All Ireland tickets from the Ladies Office in Croke Park by returning the voucher by email to info@ladiesgaelic.ie or by post to LGFA Office, Croke Park, NOTE: please do not send your ticket order to the Dublin LGFA vouchers can ONLY be redeemed via the LGFA Office in Croke Park.

 

Cups & Trophies:

Our Juvenile championship season is now under way therefore can clubs who won trophies / Cups last year please return them to Susan Naughton, to the  Dublin LGFA office or to any member of the executive committee. Club can also return them at the September County Board meeting this Tuesday night.

TESCO Home Grown Club Championships:

Congratulations to St Patricks (Junior F), Whitehall Colmcille (Junior E), Crumlin (Junior D) and Kilmacud Crokes (Junior C) on winning your respective County Finals last Friday night. The County Board would like to thank both St Finians of Newcastle and St Margarets for hosting the finals.

Congratulations to Fingallians and Thomas Davis on their comprehensive victories in the Leinster Club championship last Saturday. Fingallians defeated Cooley Kickhams (Louth) by 4-18 to 0-07 setting up a home tie on Oct 6th versus Sarsfields (Laois). Thomas Davis overcame the challenge of Adamstown (Wexford) by 5-10 to 1-03 they now face Tinahely (Wicklow) also at home on October 6th. However our commiserations to Croi Ro Naofa who narrowly lost out in the Junior championship to Simonstown of Meath by 0-10 to 2-05.
