Cork started the final well taking possession and bringing it to the Dublin goal but the backs got it away and gave the ball back to Dublin who brought it up the length of the pitch and they maximised when Emma Colgan scored a goal to open the game.


Cork won the kick out and brought the ball up to their forwards where they got a free and Eimear Scally scored for her side


Cork were given another free a few moments later and Scally scored another point.


Dublin won the ball back and Aoife Kane tried to go for a point but it went wide; however straight away Dublin won the kick out and Amy Conroy scored a point.


Cork got possession back and brought the ball to the Dublin goal and Laura Cleary went for a point but went wide. As Cork came close again the ball slipped through the fingers of the Dublin goalkeeper Cialinn Carney but it was picked up straight away by Ciara Crotty who got the ball away.


Cork were given another free and Scally took her third point for the side. Straight after this she went for another point but it went wide. Cork held onto possession and stayed in front of the Dublin goal but the backs and keeper got the ball away; however it wasn't long before Cork had the ball again and Abbie Scannell scored a point to bring the scores level.


Cork kept their domination up with a score from Hannah Looney to put them ahead by a point. They kept a hold of possession and once more brought the ball in front of the Dublin
goal and pushed their lead further with a goal from Kate Leneghan.


Dublin won the kick out and brought the ball back up to the other half and Kane scored another point for her side; however straight after this Cork won the ball back and Scally scored their second goal.


Dublin got the possession back and Holly Greer went for a point but it went wide past the posts. As they held onto the possession Conroy had a shot but it dropped short and landed
safely in the hands of a Cork back. Dublin kept pushing however and Shauna O'Hara got their second goal to bring the gap in scores to 3 points again.


Cork got possession back after a few minutes and Leneghan got another goal for them.

With two minutes left in the half Cork had two frees awarded to them which were both taken and scored by Scally.


With the clock ticking down Cork made the most of their possession and Leneghan took a final point just before the whistle blew.

At half time the score was 3-08 to 2-02 to Cork.

Cork wasted no time in getting the second half underway with two very quick goals from Scally and Leneghan to bring the lead right up to 16 points.


Dublin got the ball back and brought it to the other end and when they were given a free, O'Hara took it and added another point to the Dublin score.


Shortly after, the Dublin team got the possession back and Hannah O'Neill scored her first point since coming on as a substitution at half time.


As Kane came off for Dublin and Mia Jennings came on they went for another shot but it went wide.


Cork made two substitutions with Evie Casey going off injured being replaced by Emma Spillane and Laura Cleary went off and was replaced by Rebecca Walsh.


Cork's Niamh Duggan scored another point to push their lead further ahead.


Dublin substitute Ann Marie Troy got a point for as they regained possession.


As Cork made a substitution bringing on Evie Casey for Abbie Scannell, Rebecca McDonnell scored a goal for her Dublin.


With just 5 minutes to go in the game Cork's Casey scored another goal and this brought the full time score to 6-09 to 3-05 in favour of Cork as they won the Under 16 All Ireland final 2013.
