Inter County Update:

Big weekend ahead for Dublin LGFA with both our senior team and U16's in action on Saturday. The Senior team play Cork in the TG4 All Ireland quarter final at 2.15pm while the U16 team also face the Rebel County in the All-Ireland final at 4pm. Both games are fixed for St Brendans Park, Birr. The senior game will be shown live on Tg4.

 

Commiserations to the Dublin minor team on their heart breaking loss to Galway in the Minor All Ireland final replay, Carla Rowe was named as Player of the Match for her outstanding performance which included scoring a magnificent tally of eleven points.

County Board meeting:

The August meeting of the Dublin LGFA County Board will take place on Tuesday August 20th at 7.30pm in Parnell Park.

 

Cups & Trophies:

Our Juvenile championship season is due to get under way in two weeks' time therefore can clubs who won trophies / Cups last year please return them to the Dublin LGFA office or at the August County Board meeting

 

Tesco Home Grown Championship Finals:

Congratulations to Thomas Davis on winning the Intermediate Championship final last Friday night and our commiserations to runners up, Kilmacud Crokes. Our Junior A and Junior B Finals take place this Friday night in Fingallians. Junior A: Croi Ro Noafa v Man O War at 8.30pm, Junior B: St Jude's v O'Tooles at 7.00pm. Admission rates are Adults €5, Students & senior citizens €2 while U16's are FREE.

 

Registrations:

The Juveniles Football Season is due to start back soon, clubs are requested to ensure that all their Juvenile Players are fully registered to Train and Play. Registrations can be E-mailed to registrations@dublinladiesgaelic.ie  and payment is to be posted to 32 Clonard Road, Sandyford. Dublin 16 for the attention of Camillus Kilpatrick. Note: NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE PROCESSED UNTIL THEY ARE PAID FOR IN FULL. Allow 5 working days for Registrations to be processed from receipt of Full Payment. The New 2013 Registration Form is now available on the Website.

 

Community Games:

Congratulations to Lucan Sarsfields U12 girls team who won the Community Games All Ireland final last weekend. Lucan Sarsfields defeated Killorglan of Kerry by 5-08 to 3-06 to take the title.
