Minor All Ireland Final replay - Dublin v Galway

 

Dublin LGFA Statement:

 

Dublin Ladies Chairperson, Paul McLoughlin is urging all Dublin LGFA members, players, clubs and Dublin supporters to make the short journey to Mullingar next Wednesday night to show their support to the Dublin Minor squad and their management team as they endeavour to win the All- Ireland title for a second year in a row.

 

The Minor All Ireland final replay Dublin versus Galway will go ahead as announced by the LGFA on Wednesday August 14^th at 7pm in Cusack Park, Mullingar.

 

Since the drawn game the Dublin LGFA had made a number of requests both written and verbal both to the LGFA (Croke Park) and the Galway Ladies County Board seeking an alternative date for the replay due to the replay date clashing with the release of the Leaving Certificate results.

 

Dublin's attempts to have the date of the fixture changed have regrettably been unsuccessful. As a consequence of the ruling by the Fixtures Committee of the LGFA and with no other avenue of appeal available to the Dublin Ladies County Board, the fixture will proceed as fixed on the 14^th of August.
