Dublin Minors going for All Ireland Glory

DUBLIN MINOR LADIES GOING FOR ALL IRELAND GLORY
All roads lead to Nenagh this bank holiday Monday when Conor Barry's young Dubs make the trip to Tipp to face Galway in the Minor All Ireland final.
The Westerners will go into this encounter as slight favourites having accounted for a strong Cork side in the All-Ireland semi-final. Cork, who were many pundits favourites to lift the minor title this season succumbed in the second half to a more physical Galway side. Sisters Nicola and Louise Ward performances against Cork where pivotal for the Tribeswoman while Ciara Ni Churraoin sealed Corks faith in the second half when she bagged two of Galway's goals - Galway running out in the end comfortable winners by seven points.
Dublin's semi-final victory over Donegal was a somewhat one sided encounter the ease of their passage to the final will be a cause of apprehension to the Dublin management team as the Blue's defence has not been meaningfully tested throughout their championship campaign to date. Dublin boss, Conor Barry was concerned with how Donegal penetrated the Dublin back line to score three goals in their All- Ireland semi-final a feat not achieved by any of their Leinster Counterparts.
Dublin are appearing in the third All Ireland minor final in a row having lost to Cork in 2011 the Dubs subsequently bounced back in 2012 to defeat Tyrone. A number of the Dublin 2012 panel are involved again this season their experience should assist Dublin against a Galway side who won the U16 crown last year.
This bank holiday clash of East versus West has all the makings of a classic encounter, match official Keith Delahunty, will get proceedings underway at 3:15pm in McDonagh Park, Nenagh.
There will be live updates on Dublin's LGFA twitter account @dublinladiesg
