Foxrock Cabinteely info Feile Final

Dublin Feile Champions Foxrock Cabinteely has qualified for the division one National Feile final which will be played at 2pm today in Celtic Park, Derry. Standing in the way of a second national Feile title for the South Dublin club are Galway outfit, Corofin.

Foxrock Cabinteely begin their 2013 Feile campaign in impressive style with a 4-06 to 0-6 win over Errigal Chiarain, this was followed up with a 11-07 to 0-00 demolition of Tyrone side Urney.

In their final group game the Dublin club fell short against Cork champions St Vals with the Cork side winning on the score line of 3-3 to 2-2.  Foxrock Cabinteely as group runners up faced Kildare club Monastervan in the semi-final. The semi-final was to end up going to extra time with Foxrock Cabinteely digging deep into their reserves to eventually qualify for the final with two points to spare, final score aet 3-07 t 3-05.

In the other semi-final Corofin accounted for St Vals by 3-07 to 3-02.
