Congratulations to Fingallians, TESCO Home
Grown Dublin Club of the Month for May. Three years on from the defeat
in the 2010 county final, the Fingallians team now find themselves
undefeated in the group stages of this years Tesco Home Grown
Championship beating last years winners Foxrock Cabinteely, Na Fianna
& Round Towers Clondalkin. Under the watchful eyes of their managers
Packie Barnwell & Gerry Greene, preparations are now underway in
for their semifinal showdown with Ballyboden St. Endas to take place in August.
The team consists of a number of minor, U21 and senior county players
most notably All Star winners Amy McGuinness and Lindsey Davey and the
current Dublin ViceCaptain Sinead Finnegan to mention a few. The coming
through of underage players along with the teams experienced players has
helped balanced this team into strong contenders for this year's title.
A set of jerseys proudly sponsored by TESCO Home Grown will
be winging their way to Fingallians shortly. Congratulations once again
