New look Dubs to take on Kildare

Dublin Ladies will begin the defence of their Leinster crown next Saturday the 29th of June when they take on Kildare in the TG4 Leinster semi-final. Naomh Mearnog GAA club in Portmarnock will host this exciting Leinster clash with proceedings due to get under way at 2pm.
Dublin this season is without doubt a work in progress with a number of the 2013 panel seeking their senior championship debut this summer. Deirdre Murphy, Emma McDonagh and Leah Caffrey were all members of the minor All Ireland winning team of 2012 who have now progressed into the senior set up while Martha Byrne and Sarah O'Brien both featured on the Dublin U21 panel. Denise McKenna, Laura McGahan and Sarah Quinn have all been involved on past Dublin Inter County squads indeed McKenna and McGahan were part of the All-Ireland winning senior B team of 2010.
In total thirteen clubs are represented on the Dublin 2013 senior panel with senior clubs Fingallians and Ballyboden St Endas leading the way with four representatives each. Dublin will be captained by current Ladies All Star, Sinead Goldrick while Sinead Finnegan has been named as vice -captain.
