Minor A, B Championship Semi Finals

Reigning minor All Ireland champions Dublin will face Donegal in the All- Ireland semi-final on July 20th.  The venue and throw in time for this mouth-watering encounter is still to be confirmed by Croke Park. The winners of Dublin / Donegal will take on either Cork or Galway in the All-Ireland final which is pencilled in for bank holiday Monday August 5th.

Dublin ploughed their way through Leinster, capturing the provincial crown for the third year in a row following a 2-14 to 0-04 win over Meath in the Leinster decider. En route to the Leinster final Dublin comfortably accounted for Laois, Wexford, Wicklow and Kildare.

Donegal's preparation for the All-Ireland semi-final isn't ideal having played just three competitive fixtures due to the small number of Counties competing in the Ulster A championship. In the round robin stage Donegal overcame Tyrone by 2-13 to 2-06 while enjoying a nine point's win over Cavan, 4-11 to 1-11. Donegal and Cavan meet again in the provincial decider with Donegal clinching the Ulster title on a score line of 6-06 to 2-08.

Amber Barrett was the star for Donegal in the final bagging herself 4-01 of her sides final score tally.

Dublin have appeared in the last two All-Ireland finals having lost to Cork in 2011 only to redeem themselves in 2012 with a pulse sating win over Tyrone.

Can the Dubs make it three finals in three years - only time will tell but standing in their way will be a formidable team from Tír Chonaill
