Tesco Homegrown Supports Dublin Ladies Football Club Championship for the Third Year

The 2013 Tesco Homegrown Dublin Ladies Football  Club Championship season has started and there has already been plenty of action and drama so far. The Club Championship never fails to showcase the skill and class of our Ladies Gaelic Football players with over 64 clubs registered in Dublin.

Since 2011, Tesco have been delighted to play a supporting role in the Dublin Ladies Club Championship. This sponsorship illustrates Tesco's commitment to assisting the LGFA in developing the game across the country especially Dublin, and their goal of promoting female participation in sport, along with healthy lifestyle choices.

Last week five of Dublin's highest profile club stars were on hand to launch the 2013 Tesco Homegrown Dublin Club Championships. Pictured at the launch are Roisin Ryan (Ballyboden St. Enda's) Orla Egan (Na Fianna) Noelle Healy (St. Brigid's) Siobhan McGrath (Tomas Davis) and Ciara Murphy (Foxrock Cabinteely).

Tesco Homegrown are the title sponsor of all Dublin Ladies Football Club Championships from the U/13 Championship right up to the Senior Championship. In addition to supporting the Dublin Ladies Club Football Championships, Tesco HomeGrown will be supporting Dublin clubs through a number of initiatives including a sponsored jersey scheme, player's awards, fundraising activities and support of the Championship finals.  To date 53 clubs have benefitted from sponsored jerseys from Tesco.
