Registrations:

The deadline for renewal of players registration is fast approaching (May 31st) any club who to date have not submitted their club registrations are requested to do so ASAP to Dublin LGFA Registrar Camillus Kilpatrick email registrations@dublinladiesgaelic.ie. For more info on registration rates and to download the 2013 registration form please click on the link: http://www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie/contentPage/63251/registration, Players who have been registered by their clubs after the 1st of January 2013 are registered until the 31st of May 2014. NO club should play any player who is not registered.

 

Inter County Update:

Commiserations to the Dublin U14 team who narrowly lost out to Westmeath in the Leinster B Final, final score Dublin 3-07 Westmeath 3-09. Dublin U21's also encountered a loss in their 2nd round championship game versus Meath, the Royals edging out the Dubs by 3-14 to 1-14. The Dublin LGFA would like to thank Fingallians GAA club for hosting the Dublin v Meath game. Dublin will look to get back to winning ways this coming weekend, when they welcome Laois to the Capital on Sunday June 2nd for their third round clash in the U21 Aisling McGing Championship.

 

Congratulations to Dublin players, Sinead Goldrick, Lyndsay Davey, Noelle Healy and Leinster Captain Denise Masterson on their performances for Leinster last Saturday. Leinster defeated Munster to retain the Interprovincial Shield title.

 

TESCO Home-grown Club Player of the Month:

TESCO Home-grown proud sponsors of the Dublin LGFA Club Championships are seeking nominations for the Club Player of the Month for May, How to nominate, Simply send the name  of the player, her club and in 100 words or less why you are nominating this player to be the TESCO Dublin Club Player of the Month. Email your nomination to tescoawards@dublinladiesgaelic.ie Closing date Monday June 3rd by 5pm.

The Winner will receive an award and her club will  receive a Tesco voucher for €100. An article featuring the player will be published in the Evening Herald each month.
