May County Board Meeting:
The next meeting of the Dublin LGFA will take place on Tuesday the 21st of May at 7:30pm in Parnell Park. Clubs who wish to have any item included on the agenda (correspondence, transfers etc.,) are requested to have the necessary paperwork with County Secretary, Mary O'Connor by Monday the 13th May, email info@dublinladiesgaelic.ie or post to Dublin LGFA Office, Le Cheile, Donnycarney, Dublin 5
Inter County Update:
Congratulations to the Dublin U16 team who have qualified for the 2013 Leinster Final following their 8-15 to 4-04 win over Laois. Dublin came through the group stages unbeaten and will now face Kildare in the provincial final which is scheduled to take place on Sunday 12th of May, venue and time TBC.
Dublin U14's also secured a good win over Laois their progress in the A Championship will be determined now by other results. At the time of writing confirmation has still to be received regarding Dublin's faith. Dublin may be involved in a three way play off for qualification into the A Final alongside Kildare and Meath but may also yet be involved in the B Championship Final. Dublin LGFA is awaiting confirmation from Leinster Council.
Dublin Minors will play Meath in the Leinster Final on Sunday May 5th, Meath required a replay to overcome the challenge of Kildare, the Royals edged out the Lilywhites by the narrowest of margins. Their one point win securing their place in the 2013 Provincial final versus Dublin, which will be a repeat of last years decider. Again venue and time TBC by Leinster Council.
