Division Six

Na Fianna B 2-3

Ballyboden St Enda's C 0-0

The diminutive duo of Aoife Malone and Ellie McAleer proved too hot to handle as Na Fianna claimed the division six title in style, building a 1-3 to no score advantage at half-time which they protected well.

McAleer had already fired a warning shot before Malone cracked home the first goal to start the scoring.

Ballyboden's Katelyn Dunleavy Larkin's surging runs were causing problems but the Firhouse road club were unable to capitalise while Na Fianna took their chances.

McAleer cleared the bar twice with nicely crafted left foot efforts before Malone added a third point. With the wind, Boden did force the best out of Milly Coughlin with Isobel McNamara drawing a great save from the goalkeeper.

But Rebecca Cullen's goal killed off the tie as a contest midway through the second half.
