Division Five
St Jude's 1-3
Raheny 1-0
St Jude's eked out the division five title as they took their points, seeing off Raheny in a tight-knit tussle to open up finals day at Lawless Memorial Park.
Niamh Gannon gave her side the perfect start with an early point before a superb exchange between Sofie Dunworth and Aisling Keyes yielded the game's opening goal.
The former flipped the ball over the last defender for the on-rushing Keyes who fired a rasping shot into the top corner.
But Raheny were right back in the game on the stroke of half-time when Ciara McDunphy's long range free caught the wind and found its way into the net.
It left the minimum between the sides, 1-1 to 1-0, and the second half saw both sides carve out plenty of chances to make inroads with McDunphy proving a constant menace.
Jude's, however, were the ones to take the initiative as Ellen Bowden grabbed the two points of the second half to ease the tension while Keyes almost made the game even safer when she clattered the inside of the post in the closing minute
It mattered little, though, as Jude's saw out the remaining seconds and take home the division five crown.
