Dubs in championship action this weekend

The Leinster Championship resumes this St Patricks Weekend with round two of the U16, U14 and minor championship taking place.

 

First up on Saturday, is Pat Kane's Dublin U16 squad who fresh from their opening win over Meath will be looking forward to renewing their rivalry with Kildare. The U16 encounter is part of a double bill versus the Lilywhites as the Dubs Cubs - Dublin U14's will also take on Kildare.

 

Both games will take place in Kilcullen GAA Club, the U16 match commences at 12 noon, while Dublin U14 Interim boss, Amy Branigan chargers will be in action at 2pm.

 

Branigan will be hoping for an improved performance from her squad who fell short to a strong Meath team in their opening championship round. If this team click on Saturday they have the potential to bounce back well from the Meath defeat.

 

Meanwhile, the Dublin minors make the short journey to Pearse Park in Arklow on Monday, as they take on the best of Garden County, Wicklow in the second round of the MFC, throw in time in Arklow is 2pm
