Mixed results for Dubs against Meath

Dublin began the defensive of their Leinster U16 title on Saturday last with a comprehensive win over old Leinster rivals Meath.
Dublin ran out 6-10 to 1-06 winners but the score line flattered Dublin somewhat as Meath stuck close to their neighbours for most of the first half with the half time score reading Dublin 0-8 Meath 0-01.
Meanwhile in the opening game of the double bill played in St Margaret's featured the Dublin U14 team v Meath, this time it was the Royal County who came out on top with a 7-8 to 2-8 victory over the sky blues.
Both Dublin teams now look forward to an away trip to Kildare on Saturday the 16th of March next
