Parnells to host Dublin v Donegal

  • Feb 06,2013

Dublin is looking forward to the visit of Donegal to the capital this Sunday for their second round tie in the TESCO Home Grown NFL.  The venue for this interesting clash has been confirmed as Parnell's GAA Club, Chanel College (Coolock Village), with a 2pm throw in time.

Dublin once more under Interim manager, Paul Gilheaney will be eager to bag three more league points from this encounter having over come a resilient Meath outfit by two points last Sunday meanwhile Donegal will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Laois in last weekends opening round.

Gilheaney will have to plan for this game without the services of Orla Egan (shoulder) and Niamh McEvoy (knee) who left the field of play last Sunday with both having picked up serious knocks.

On the plus side Sinead Aherne will be available for selection on Sunday having missed the opening tie of the NFL when her flight back from a skiing holiday was delayed.

Experienced Wexford official, James Flood has been given the nod to take charge of this Leinster v Ulster clash.

Admission prices on Sunday: Adults €8, students / senior citizens €4 - UNDER 16's FREE
